The Garden and Hot Tub

The North York Moors National Park is a very special place with some of the most outstanding open landscapes in the world.

Rinstone Lodge is located in a secluded lane just off from the main centre of Thornton le Dale.

To the side of the moors cottage there is a secluded, secret and very private garden with a lovely Hot Tub and patio area where you can dine alfresco or just sit and enjoy the stillness and tranquility of this peaceful location.

The hot tub provides some well deserved luxury and pampering in this tranquil setting.

Out of view of the garden area is a hard standing private parking area for two cars which is accessed across an area of pebbles. There is a private EV charge point to which additional charges apply. Adjacent is a bike store for those hoping to explore the local area.

The sun in the afternoon and early evening sets in just the right location; blue skies not quite guaranteed but peace and quiet is a plenty.

Venturing Further....

The North York Moors is an area of North Yorkshire located north of York between the Yorkshire Dales, Whitby and the dramatic coastline. It has some of the most stunning natural landscape for walking and cycling and the largest expanse of heather moorland in England. All protected by being designated a National Park. The walking and cycling landscape has a range of ancient stone way-markers and crosses which contrast with the purple heather - many of which have been guiding lights for walkers, travellers and shepherds over hundreds of years.

One of the most scenic ways to get to know the North York Moors is on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway from Pickering; travelling through settlements in the moors to Grosmont and then on to the coastal town of Whitby. This is in Heartbeat country but the little station at Goathland was also used as Hogsmeade in the Harry Potter films.

North Yorkshire Moors is walking, cycling and mountain bike country, with stunning scenery and a range of challenging cycle and walking trails. Wainwrights famous coast to coast walk ends in Robin Hoods Bay and the 100 mile Cleveland Way National Trail takes you from Helmsley around the western and northern moors then uses coastal pathways down to the coast at Filey.

Cycling is also popular, with some of the most challenging stages of the Tour de Yorkshire right on the moors doorstep. Dalby Forest, near Pickering provides even harder routes for Mountain Bike and leisure cyclists.

If you want to experience the breath-taking scenery of the North York Moors with a luxury holiday cottage or self-catering holiday then we have a range of gorgeous properties. Right near the very heart of the North York Moors, and villages such as Thornton Dale, Helmsley, Pickering, Danby, Egton, Rosedale Abbey, and Glaisdale could be the perfect central location for your holiday.
